Words Of Wisdom

So all my work with text has been about quotes. Seeing as my course was 'Fine Art' I thought I'd look at the old masters and the words of wisdom that they have to offer. I produced a little A6 book as I figured it was nicer to have it as a collection.

Commission Poster

I have been asked to make 'The Birds' into a poster for somebody, which is something I hadn't actually thought of doing...especially if it's not paper cut! I've been preparing to open up a shop on Etsy so it's something that would work quite well on there considering postage etc. Maybe it's something that I could do to a lot of my work...convert it into a printed poster? Here's a mock up...(the block lines obviously won't be there, that's just to illustrate the edge).

Free Range at The Old Truman Brewery

What can I say...it was amazing. Fantastic experience and there was some great work there that week. This is my area that I exhibited in at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Both 'The Birds' and 'Psycho' sold at the show to two very lovely people who I hope will enjoy the work. Sorry about the quality of the pictures.

Business

So I haven't been on here in ages...sorry! It's been pretty mental recently with moving out of my lovely house in Bath back in with my Mum. Plus of course there has been our show Free Range on Brick Lane in London. I got perforated postcards made for all of the pieces of work that I exhibited (all of which went!) and some cut out business cards which Ben Mottershead very kindly laser cut for me...there was no way I was going to cut 200 business cards by hand!
